Tupac Shakur

The New York State Department of Correctional Services housed rapper Tupac Shakur for several months after he was convicted of felony sexual abuse of a female fan in December 1994. Shakur was sentenced to 18 to 54 months, but he only spent a few months upstate before producer Suge Knight bailed him out. In September 1996, Shakur was murdered.
