A rather interesting tidbit of "science" on the effects of different types of substances and how they affect a spider's ability to spin a web. I wonder what my poor little brain looks like in the form of a spider web?? Yikes!

This was plastered all over the uk press a few years back. I remember thinking how did they got the spider stoned, was some scientist giving a tarantula blow backs, or maybe the spider was trapped in a bong for a few minutes. Either was, the results show we should 'keep it real' if we ever want to make a decent spider's web - but for some reason i have yet to feel the need to do that. [tongue cheek]

Now wait, the marijuana spider's web is fine....he just needed that extra 'V' section open to hide his stash.

As for the caffeine spider, his boss kept giving himnew plans for the web and kept saying things like, 'We needed that yesterday!' he did what he could with what he had and he was rushed.

As for the benzedrine spider....well ya...he was stoned....
